  • 200 g (7.1 oz.) pasta of choice
  • as desired parmesan cheese

(A)Sauce

  • 10 g (0.4 oz.)  parmesan cheese
  • 30 g (1.1 oz.) walnuts(raw)
  • 10 g (0.4 oz.) pine nuts
  • as desired garlic
  • 1/2 tsp Kikkoman Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Kikkoman Light Color Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp butter

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sauce using (A). Grate the parmesan cheese. Toast the walnuts in a toaster oven for 2-3 minutes, taking care not to scorch.
  2. Melt the butter in a fry pan, quickly sauté the thinly sliced garlic, then remove. Add in the pine nuts and sauté on low, once lightly browned remove from the fry pan.
  3. Heat up the fry pan from (2) again, add in the 2 types of soy sauce and turn off the heat once the mixture begins to bubble and sizzle.
  4. Place (1), (2) and half of the olive oil into a food processor, and mix until thick an creamy. Next, add in the soy sauce from (3) and the remaining olive oil and turn on the food processor again to prepare the sauce.
  5. Place (4) into a bowl, add in the boiled pasta and blend together. Serve with a side of the grated parmesan to sprinkle on if desired.
